This records all available images with the highest quality, most efficient routing and displaying in PIP/PAP or Quadview and is stored by connecting to the EHR and PACS. Audio and video streaming is easily controlled from each operating room to every desired location within or outside of the hospital. The web-based iMas online portal also enables image editing.

This promotes collaboration within the OR and contributes to streamlined method of sharing information within the hospital. Sharing information prevents mistakes and contributes to optimal decision-making. The required digital checklists help to accomplish this, such as briefing, time-out, sign-out, anaesthetic check, emergency procedures and more. Consequently, the safety and efficiency increase which leads to:

  • Efficiency increase of the operation process
  • Increase of the OR occupancy rate
  • Increased insights in process status and quality
  • Decreased chance of (communication) errors
